As you all know, it's been a little over a year since I started Teeny's Friends and I'm happier than a bunny in a bubble bath about the pawgress we've made. [Yes, I just made up that expression but I've been dying to use the "bunny in a bubble bath" photo and that gave me the perfect excuse.] I wanted to take a minute to share with you guys, who make it all possible, what we've been up to as well as what's in the pipeline for us.
BlogPaws West - I will be attending BlogPaws West in Denver, Colorado from September 10th - 12th. BlogPaws is a pet blogger conference and networking event. I will be attending workshops, listening to speakers, and learning things like how to be a better pet blogger, increase site traffic, raise more money on behalf of the organization, etc. I'm so excited to meet in person all of the wonderful people I've been fortunate enough to get to know online over the past year.
August toy drive - Our August toy drive at Camp 4 Paws [a million thanks to the owner, Casey Davenport] is going on NOW! I have not received any beneficiary information from them as of yet, but I will update with that information as soon as I receive it. Click here for the location of Camp 4 Paws. The toy drive will end on Saturday, August 21st.
September toy drive - Our September toy drive has been scheduled and will be held at Austin Canine Central. More information on this to come...
1-Fur-1 toy - After a couple of hot months in June & July, 1-fur-1 toy sales have dropped off. I'm currently looking into marketing and advertising options, as we want to help as many needy dogs as possible and the 1-fur-1 toy is one of the main ways we are able to do that! The toy is still on sale for $3.99 until the end of August, to help fund our trip to Denver for BlogPaws!

Whew! Busy, busy. I'm exhausted just reading it all! I think Teeny's little sister Tootsie has the right idea and it may be NAP TIME!
