November Toy Drive Loot

Tis the season for giving! Here is a small sample of the great toys the Texas Hearing & Service Dogs are going to be receiving soon! The November toy drive at 4 Paws 4 Points was a great success; their staff & clients are very generous people! Someone even left an American Kennel Club gift set (the big box in the photo) with 6 toys and a bag of liver treats that had our dogs watering at the mouth! Next week I will be delivering these goodies and continuing to set up the December toy drive. Stay tuned for more info!

When you buy one, we donate one to a needy dog in a shelter or low-income neighborhood! This toy makes a great Christmas gift for animal lovers, so please keep us in mind while you are doing your holiday shopping online over the next few days! Our little Mini-Schnauzer Tootsie wanted to take a minute out her busy day of eating turkey and watching football (Hook 'em Horns!) to blog and wish you all a very happy Thankgiving. Teeny's Friends & the entire McDougall family are so grateful to everyone that has supported us or helped us in our mission to help needy dogs. We couldn't do it without you, so thank you all!

November Toy Drive Beneficiary

We have a benefit group for our November toy drive at 4 Paws 4 Points! The crew at 4 Paws has spoken and... drum role please... the toys we raise will be going to Texas Hearing & Service Dogs! Just because these furry friends have a job to do, doesn't mean that they don't want to have some fun sometimes! I'm so excited to stop by and drop off the toys and meet some of these poochies. Busy But Productive Day!

It was a busy day in the world of Teeny's Friends! First thing this A.M. we dropped off the bin at 4 Paws 4 Points for our November toy drive. I posted a somewhat blurry picture of Teeny standing with the toy drive sign.

Next, we had to head to Emancipet to donate the toys generated from sales of the Teeny's Friends 1-for-1 Tug Toy. This was pretty exciting, as it was the first round of donations made from toy sales. Emancipet has recently done an incredible remodel, and we got a mini-tour of the new digs, which was very cool. Thanks, Nikki! While at Emancipet, we also made a new friend, Chispita the chihuahua. Her human told us that most people just call her "Cheese Pizza" we that is what we've been referring to her as. Cheese Pizza's tounge hung out of her mouth due to a defect, but we thought it was the cutest thing ever and we just fell in love with her. I have also posted a picture of our new furry friend that her human was nice enough to send to me. Isn't she adorable? All in all it was a productive day. Now I need a nap! :)

Reminder - Toy Drive Begins Saturday!

Our November toy drive at 4 Paws 4 Points begins this Saturday, November 7th. They are still deciding what organization will benefit from the toys raised, but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out. If you need directions to 4 Paws 4 Points, click here.
