As of yesterday morning, the Teeny's Friends toy bins are set up and ready at Emancipet! To the left, I have posted a picture of Teeny next to this months sign for everyone to see. Info About July's Toy Drive!
I am absolutely blown away by the response we've had to our little organization. Everyone in the animal-lover community has just been incredible. We had a great first response, and the Austin Humane Society (http://www.austinhumanesociety.org/) was so hospitable. Special thanks to Crystal Tysz who helped out enormously and was a big part in the success of June's toy drive.
July's toy drive has been scheduled! It will be held at Emancipet (www.emancipet.org) and will benefit the Austin Humane Society. See what we did there? A little switch-a-roo! I will be placing the bins out at Emancipet on Saturday, June 27th and will be picking them up on Saturday, July 11th. There are lots of animals in the shelter at the Austin Humane Society, and they are in need of toys for the cats and dogs to play with.

Photos From Humane Society Toy Drive
I took some photos when I got home of the toy bins I picked up from the Austin Humane Society. It was so much more full than expected, which made me very happy! Our poochies were so excited about having all those toys in the house; I think it was killing them not to dive in headfirst. I got a cute shot of them both peeking inside.
1st Toy Drive A Success!
I am pleased to announce that I just picked up our bin from our first toy drive and it was nearly full! Proud and happy to declare it a success. I will be posting pictures soon from the pile of toys, which will very soon be delivered to the lucky animals at Emancipet.

Toy Drive In Full Swing!
Just wanted to give everyone a status update! Our 1st toy drive is in full swing at the Humane Society, located at 124 West Anderson Lane. We have a bin set up there near the door- when you walk in, it is directly to your left. If you are out and about, then stop by, drop off a dog toy, and pick up one of our cute cards. This months toys will benefit Emancipet. For more information about Emancipet and the Humane Society, please visit their links below.
