I have a great new site that I wanted to recommend to everyone: http://www.itstartswith.us/blog/. Nate, who runs the site, is also on twitter at www.twitter.com/itstartswithus. He single handily runs the blog and is dedicated to making a difference in the world. I would do his mission a dis-service by trying to explain it, so here it is in his own words:
"The goal of ItStartsWith.Us is to build a global community of individuals focused on making a positive impact in the lives of the people around them.
Each and every one of us has the ability to change the world by touching lives in this way. And when we hear more about the positive things others are doing, we become more aware of the opportunities we have to make a difference for the people around us.
Right now I’m starting small with a simple blog, broadcasting stories about people making a positive impact, and hopefully inspiring others along the way. I have some big ideas of where this site can go in the near future, once the community has a chance to build up.
Eventually ItStartsWith.Us will become a true database-driven social networking site focused on positive change, with a unique set of tools for that purpose. It will open up previously blocked lines of communication among people with a common vision, and then we’ll see what we can do.
Stay tuned."
Please check out his website and help him on his mission to make a difference in the world.

I just came over from ItStartsWith.Us and I cannot tell you how much I admire wha tyou're doing here. This is amazing and I am almost in tears with how happy this makes me. My own dog, Bella, has two HUGE dog beds filled with toys and it's a bit ridiculous. No matter what we give her, she is SO appreciative of a new toy and it cracks me up to see that little tail wagging when she gets something new. The thought of dogs not having toys makes me so sad and it's so great to know that someone out there is finding a way to get toys to them. Please email me or visit my site (www. positivelypresent. com) and let me know if there is any way I can help out this great cause.
